Description about 2001 Bmw M5 Sedan 4D:

Officially selling my M5 after 7 years of ownership. I purchased it in April 2014 with 132k and it now has 226xxx miles. I have various receipts during my ownership and years worth of FCP orders. Car is a 2001 Carbon Black on Caramel - Full leather, M-Audio, F+R Parking Sensors, Alcantara Headliner. Before my ownership: Dinan Software, Dinan clutch, Dinan short shift Active Autowerks lower grill (full kit with brake ducting) During my ownership: Dinan springs/Bilstein Sport shocks 9/19 Refinished wheels less than 1 month ago ($1k) F10 lighted shift knob w/boot Grom Bluetooth Custom valved exhaust utilizing factory exhaust tips - Outer mufflers provide stock sound until valves open and inner are straight piped with values. Stock look with amazing sound when you want it. (Professionally tig welded and fabricated) Absolutely no rust - Fuel fill area is smooth and underbody is clean. Spent 10+ years in Vermont, a few years in North Carolina, and the rest by me in Minnesota. Parked 6 months a year and never seen salt. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on all 4 and in great shape. I've replaced the fuel pump, radiator, water pump, cam sensors, engine mounts, oil filter lines, thrust bushings, brake booster, many brake pads/rotors, fan clutch, belts, rad hoses, oil separator kit, oil pan, guibo, intermediate shaft support, rearview mirror, vanos seals/boards, regular tune-ups, and probably much more. Oil changes have always been done by me using nothing but 10w-60 liquimoly. I have not done rod bearings or timing chain, but was told by the previous owner that the timing chain parts were done before I purchased it. I do not have proof of this, however. The hood has some rock chips and the caramel interior is showing its age. No dents or large scratches other than the rock chips. My plan was to get the car in pristine condition before selling, but I just don't have the time to do it. I do have a full interior refinishing kit from Leatherique ($400) that I will include with the car. I had the front bumper replaced a few years ago with a genuine BMW replacement. This is a great drivers car and I have and would drive it anywhere. It was my daily until a couple years ago and has treated me extremely well. I will be sad to see it go, but I don't drive it as much as I used to and want it to continue to be enjoyed. I am not in a hurry to sell and will not allow test drives without payment in hand. Please feel free to ask questions or share if you know anyone interested.
